Jaguar MK II

3.4L MOD

Zu verkaufen: Jaguar Mark II, 3.4L MOD, Erstzulassung 1962. Ich habe dieses Auto letztes Jahr privat von einem deutschen Rentner gekauft. Er importierte das Auto 2018 aus Großbritannien nach Deutschland und meldete es in Bayern an. Da das Auto bereits vor 8 Jahren importiert wurde, muss man keinen Zoll zahlen. Das Auto hat eine deutsche TÜV-Plakette bis September 2026 und kann sofort in Deutschland zugelassen und gefahren werden. Für die Typisierung in Österreich sind eigene Arbeiten erforderlich. Obwohl ich das Auto sehr schön finde, habe ich keine Zeit für eine Restaurierung und bin daher bereit, es zu verkaufen und bin offen für vernünftige Angebote.

Die Vorteile:

• Deutsche TÜV-Plakette als Oldtimer (gültig bis Sept. 2026)
• Komplett neues Lederinterieur, restauriert auf sehr hohem Niveau
• Neue Teppiche und andere Innenausstattung
• Komplettes Holzinterieur
• Komplettes Auto, das sofort in Deutschland gefahren werden kann (fährt, lenkt und bremst)
• Begehrenswerte und originale 3.4L-Handschaltung mit Overdrive und dem Heritage-Zertifikat von Jaguar, das die originale Farbkombination und Motorgröße bestätigt

Die Nachteile:

• Der Motor schwitzt Öl, was für eine Zulassung in Österreich eventuell behoben werden müsste (ist aber nicht ungewöhnlich für einen Oldtimer aus England)
• Rost an manchen Karosserieteilen (Türen, unter den Lichtern, Kofferraum)
• Der Lack wurde vor ca. 10 Jahren gemacht, aber es gibt Risse und er blättert an manchen Stellen ab (z.B beim Schiebedach)

Das Auto ist wirklich schön und ich bekomme immer Komplimente, wenn ich eine Runde damit fahre, aber es braucht wirklich jemanden, der bereit ist, Zeit und Geld zu investieren.

I bought this car last year in a private sale from a German retiree. He imported the car from the UK to Germany in 2018 and registered the car in Bavaria. The car has a German MOT until September 2026 and can be registered and driven in German immediately. There is some work required to get the car registered in Austria.
Although I like the car a lot, I do not have the time for or money to invest and am therefore willing to sell it and am open to sensible offers.

The positives:
- German MOT as a classic car
- All new leather interior restored to a very high standard
- New carpets and other interior
- Complete wood interior with little work needed
- Complete car that can be driven in Germany immediately (runs, steers and brakes as expected for a car of this era)
- Desirable and original 3.4L manual with overdrive with the heritage certificate from Jaguar that confirms the original colour combination and engine size

The negatives:
- The motor is losing oil, which would possibly need to be rectified for a registration in Austria (not uncommon for classic cars from England)
- Rust on some of the bodywork (doors, under the lights, boot)
- The paint finish is 10 years old and there are areas where it is splitting or peeling (around the sunroof)

The car looks great and is a british icon, and I get compliments whenever I take it out, but it really needs someone willing to invest the time and money to get it back to a good standard.
